- Hey guys! My name is Sha'Donna AKA Donna. I created this blog mainly to document my transition to natural hair from relaxed hair. I've been getting perms since a very young age. Probably about 5-6 years old. After much research, but way less hesitation, I decided to go NATURAL and embrace what my momma (and daddy) gave me! This should be interesting. I named this blog "Girl, yes" because everytime I see a young lady looking less than appealing I say/think to myself "Girl, no" but this will be a positive journey. Going natural is definitely a GOOD LOOK, and thus "Girl, yes." was born! Enjoy.
Soror, I love it! This video was awesome! Welcome to Nappiness! I've been transitioning for 7 months myself and let me tell you, it is so liberating. I'm going to big chop in April for my 29th birthday. This is major for me and my second time going natural. Keep in touch.
